The Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA was founded in 1938 and quickly became a renowned venue for Broadway shows to find their footing. Completely renovated and reopened in 2012, the Playhouse needed a strong new visual voice.
Carl created this engaging series of posters to help the Playhouse define its visual voice. The goal was to develop an ownable and memorable look for the Playhouse- yet accommodate the individual needs of each production.
With a shoestring budget, Carl stepped in to create the design as well as all illustration and custom typographic elements.
